The organization's president, Bandel Mutaieri, will meet with Alexander Ceferin in Salzburg this week. Ceferin wants the EFC to withdraw its support for the Club World Cup. The 2029 tournament currently lacks a host city and funding model, and clubs are dissatisfied with the unresolved solidarity compensation for the 2025 tournament.
