According to The Sun, Cruzeiro's new signing Luciano Rodriguez was stood up by his girlfriend at his unveiling ceremony, creating an awkward moment.
Luciano Rodriguez is celebrating his move to Cruzeiro, and his girlfriend, who has been dubbed the "Uruguayan version of Kim Kardashian," is with him at the special event.

This striker, who was recently left out of Uruguay's 26-man World Cup squad, has now joined the Brazilian powerhouse on loan.
However, Rodriguez's appearance was overshadowed by an awkward moment.
After signing the contract, the 23-year-old striker immediately posed for photos with his girlfriend, Antonella Chiavalia. However, when the Uruguayan model tried to kiss him in front of the photographer, he missed.
Chiavalia quickly walked away, leaving the former Sunderland target awkwardly touching his hair, hoping no one noticed the mistake. But for Rodriguez, it was undoubtedly another blow, as the video quickly went viral after being uploaded to social media.
Chiavalia later had to deny that there was a rift in their relationship, insisting that she had only left in a hurry because she was nervous.
The 23-year-old influencer said, "I greeted him when I went in, and I was very nervous when I left. I was a little overwhelmed at that moment, so I wanted to give him some space. There was no disrespect, and it wasn't like what they're saying."

Chiavalia has over 170,000 followers across various social media platforms and is known as the "Uruguayan version of Kim Kardashian".
Since joining Cruzeiro, Rodriguez has also become teammates with two former Premier League players. Luis Sinistra, who joined Leeds United four years ago for £25 million, has now moved from Bournemouth to Cruzeiro. Former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Matthäus Pereira is also among Rodriguez's new teammates.

Cruzeiro currently sit fifth in the Brazilian Serie A, 15 points behind league leaders Palmeiras. Rodriguez is expected to make his debut later this week in the Copa Libertadores match against Flamengo.
