According to The Sun, Lewis Hall remains very keen to join Manchester United this summer, despite Newcastle insisting the defender is not for sale.

Hall is likely to be the next target, and Manchester United are aware of their interest in the former Chelsea left-back.
Manchester United manager Michael Carrick is looking to strengthen the full-back position, as the aging Luke Shaw is the only true left-back in the squad.
Luke Shaw appears to have recovered from his injury woes, having started 38 Premier League games for Manchester United last season, but the Champions League commitments will further extend his squad.
Manchester United have contacted Newcastle to learn about the terms for signing Hall, but the response they received was that he is not for sale.
Despite the club's firm stance, The Sun reports that Hall still desires a move to Old Trafford and has made it clear that he wants to leave Newcastle.
The Sun previously reported that Hall believed former Newcastle manager Eddie Howe's tactical arrangements led to his exclusion from England's 2026 World Cup squad. Eddie Howe has since left the job.
Now there are reports that Hall's discontent remains, and he still wants to leave St. James' Park.
Even so, Newcastle still holds a strong negotiating position, as Hall's contract does not expire until 2029.
It is understood that Newcastle United are also aware that some players within the team are increasingly worried about the team's future direction.
