Manchester Evening News: Manchester United starting lineup predictions: Bruno Fernandes to lead the attack, Mbomo to start as center forward, Tielemans likely to start.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United will continue their preparations for the new Premier League season tonight at Crocker Park in Dublin, facing Leeds United. With only two games remaining before their opening match against Hull City on August 22, Carrick is expected to give his key players as much playing time as possible.

Lamenz appears to have recovered from his illness, which caused him to miss the match against Paris Saint-Germain, and should make his first start of the summer. Mazraoui started against Paris Saint-Germain last round, but may be substituted in this game to give Dalot more playing time. Haven's performance on Saturday was mediocre, so partnering Yoro with Maguire might be a safer option.

In midfield, Andre Santos and Mason Mount have worked well together this summer. However, Mount was substituted midway through the first half in Gothenburg, and his participation in this match is doubtful. Both the former Chelsea player and Michael Carrick insist it was a precautionary substitution, but starting Tielemans alongside Santos for the first time wouldn't be a bad idea.

Captain Bruno Fernandes made his summer debut over the weekend and is expected to play as the number 10, replacing Shea Lacy. However, this doesn't mean Lacy is out of the running; he's expected to get more first-team opportunities this season.

Marcus Rashford has also returned to Manchester United's squad in Dublin. His future remains uncertain, but he has rejoined team training this week. Even so, he is unlikely to start. The same applies to Menu and Lisandro Martinez, both of whom recently returned from the World Cup.

Ahmad performed well on the right wing on Saturday and should be able to keep his position. On the left wing, Carrick will likely continue to use Patrick Dolgu, as he is still getting used to the position. If Lamenz recovers from his weekend illness, Matthäus Cunha may also start.

Up front, Carrick would certainly like to start Sesco. However, he hasn't played since last season's victory over Liverpool at Old Trafford.

Mbappe was one of Manchester United’s most impressive players in the preseason this summer, and playing him as a center forward before Sesco is back to 100% is almost the most logical choice.
