German media: Kane rejects offers, wants to extend his contract with Bayern until 2030.

According to Sport1, Bayern Munich plans to extend Harry Kane's contract, as the England striker remains a key player for the team.

The then 30-year-old striker signed a contract until 2027 at Säbener Straße. After 147 official appearances, 146 goals, two Bundesliga titles, and a German Cup title, the partnership is clearly poised to extend beyond its original term.

According to Sport1, Bayern Munich's management is confident of securing a contract extension with Harry Kane. The England international has so far rejected all offers from other clubs.

Kane's contract extension: Term still undetermined

Contract length has been a key point of contention in the negotiations. Reports indicate that both sides are currently aiming for an extension until 2029, while Kane's team hopes for a contract ending in 2030. If the latter is chosen, the striker will be 36 years old when his contract expires.

Negotiations with Kane were led by Bayern Munich chairman Dresen, with Kane's father Pat and brother Charlie serving as advisors. Dresen stated at the end of last month, "Both sides have a strong desire; now it depends on whether these desires can find common ground."

Back in late May, at the championship celebration, Dresen said he hoped to finalize the matter as soon as possible before the start of the new season.

Kane is feeling great at Bayern.

Kane is currently on holiday with his wife and children. He helped England finish third in the World Cup and is expected to return to Munich this weekend.

The 33-year-old striker stated after winning the German Cup in late May that he would wait until after the World Cup to discuss his future. Kane also made it clear that he was very comfortable in Munich: "Everyone knows how much I love it here."

Kane made it very clear when he first appeared at Bayern Munich: he believed that he came to the German champion club to achieve his biggest goal – winning the Champions League.

After scoring 51 goals in 61 official matches for Bayern Munich in the 2025/26 season, Kane also has a chance to win a very prestigious individual honor: he is considered one of the favorites in the Ballon d'Or voting in London on October 26.

However, he has already secured another trophy: next Wednesday, Kane will win the European Golden Shoe for the second time, recognizing his performance as Europe's top scorer last season.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Bayern Munich museum, which could also be a suitable stage for Kane's next important moment. The timing couldn't be more fitting to formally announce the England superstar's upcoming contract extension at such a ceremonial setting.
