According to Tottenham's official report, Porro returned to the Tottenham training ground on Thursday morning and received a world champion-level welcome.

The Spanish international has returned to the team for the first time since winning the 2026 World Cup this summer to begin preseason training.

In this tournament, Polo started in 5 out of 7 matches for the Spanish team, including all the knockout rounds. He helped Spain eliminate Austria, Portugal, Belgium, and France, and defeat Argentina in the final on July 19.
This full-back also scored his first two international goals in tournaments in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, first against Austria and then a brilliant goal in the semi-final against France.
Now 26 years old, Poirot is a world champion. He is also the fourth player in Tottenham's history to lift the World Cup during his registration at the club. Teammates, coaching staff, players, and other personnel lined up to welcome him back to the Tottenham training ground.
