In an interview with Ferdinand, Tielemans emphasized that Menu has unlimited potential and he looks forward to working with Menu under Carrick.
"Based on my experience playing against him, I think he is very strong in physical contests when he has the ball," Tielemans said in an interview with Ferdinand.
"He has excellent ball control and technical skills; he receives the ball and turns very well. However, in my opinion, he could work on choosing the right time to pass and controlling the power of his passes, that is, his decision-making ability when passing forward."
