talkSPORT European football expert Andy Brasser believes that right-back Joaquin See might be a better deal for Manchester United, as Newcastle United have been monitoring the 21-year-old Club Brugge player all summer.
Blasser believes that Joaquim Se , who has made 73 appearances for Club Brugge's first team and two appearances for Belgium during the World Cup, would be an ideal addition.
In last season's European competitions, the young player contributed 2 assists and created 5 chances in 7 starts.
Brasser said: "I think the obvious choice is Newcastle because they need to strengthen their full-back position, and considering that, he will get the most playing time there."
“There are a few things that would make Newcastle interested in him. I think you have to consider that Trippier has left. Livermore also has injury problems, but both Livermore and Hall are undeniably talented.”
“I know Newcastle are very keen for Hall to stay this summer and they will offer him a new contract. I mean, you could still see him leave mid-season, maybe even after this season, and I think Livermore is in the same boat.”
“If Livramento has a good season and plays more than 30 games, then you will be back in a situation where you can sell him because everyone knows he is a very good player.”
He added: " Joaquin Se is the kind of player we've seen in the Belgian national team who can not only start but also come off the bench and make an impact. He's been outstanding."
"For the past year or so in Bruges, he mainly played on the left wing, which I think suited him best."
"So from another perspective, if you're thinking about which team would be a better fit for him if he wanted to play every week, then from that point of view, perhaps Manchester United would be a better choice."
