However, Manchester City's new manager Enzo Maresca insists that the striker can be included in the matchday squad in Cardiff.
"Haaland is fine, just a minor issue behind his ear, but he's in good form," the Italian said at Friday's pre-match press conference.
Rodri has returned to Manchester City after undergoing minor back surgery. Maresca stated on Friday that he is ready to train, but his chances of playing in this match are slim as Barcelona are preparing to make another bid for him.
