According to Bild, Bayern Munich will begin contract extension talks with Harry Kane before the German Super Cup.
On Monday, Bayern Munich held "Allianz FC Bayern Team Day" at their German record-breaking training ground on Ingolstadt Street, where head coach Vincent Kompany led the team in an open training session.
During a training break, Kane discussed his future at Bayern Munich. His contract with Bayern runs until the summer of 2027, and renewal negotiations are expected to begin soon.
Kane said: "We have made it clear that we will talk again after the World Cup and my vacation. I am not sure of the exact time yet, but the negotiations will begin this week or next week. We will start talking, as I have said before, we are both calm. I think they are calm too. Now is certainly the time to start talking, because we only have one year left. This is important. However, both sides are relaxed, and I am quite sure that we will start talking this week or next week."
This means Kane's future plans may change in the coming days. Bild reports that Kane has made it clear to Bayern Munich's management that he wants to stay with the record-breaking Bundesliga champions and is willing to extend his current contract, which expires in 2027. Uli Hoeneß recently said, "I haven't spoken directly with Harry about this, but I've heard he's very comfortable in Munich. We get along well with him, and there's really no reason for him to leave next year. So at least I don't see him leaving."
