According to the German Football Association, referee Daniel Schlager will officiate the German Super Cup match between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

The match, named after Franz Beckenbauer, will take place on Saturday at 8:30 PM, with Schlager assisted by assistant referees Sven Wasicki Gent and Tobias Fritsch. This will be Schlager's first time officiating this event, given he is 36 years old. Schlager has been a FIFA-approved referee since 2022, most recently officiating a friendly between Brazil and Panama a few weeks before the World Cup.

Schlager has officiated 104 Bundesliga matches since 2018, and has also served as a referee in UEFA group stage matches and the German Cup.

The German Football Association also appointed Timo Gerlach as the fourth official, with John Pfeiffer and Marcus Sinn serving as video assistant referees.
