According to the Manchester Evening News, Marcus Rashford has impressed Manchester United's hierarchy by bringing on Gabriel and Shea Lacey. Rashford hasn't played in the Premier League since December 2024, and has since been loaned to Aston Villa and Barcelona.
This summer, Rashford was expected to leave, but Barcelona ultimately did not activate their £26 million option to buy him. It was widely believed the two sides would part ways permanently, but Michael Carrick is now bringing him back into the first team.
Rashford came on as a substitute in the recent pre-season friendly loss to AC Milan, marking his first appearance in a Manchester United shirt in nearly two years. The 28-year-old striker now seems to be enjoying his time at Old Trafford and has begun mentoring several of the club's younger players.
According to the Daily Mail, Rashford has been mentoring Manchester United's young star Gabriel and 19-year-old prospect Lacey. It is believed that his work has left a "deep impression" on Manchester United's management.
