According to Bild, Bayer Leverkusen has informed 31-year-old captain Andritchie that he can look for another club.

Andrich is going through a difficult phase in his career. As the defensive linchpin in a three-man defense, a role he's unfamiliar with, he had an inconsistent season at Bayer Leverkusen, which also cost him a place in the World Cup squad. New coach Carlos Martinez has switched to a four-man defense, with familiar center-backs already filling those positions.
Andritz and his agent, Søren Seidl, must find a way out quickly, as the transfer window closes on September 1st. Eintracht Frankfurt has already inquired about Andritz, and another Bundesliga club is also interested. According to Bild, Andritz has also considered a move overseas.
