Recently, Manchester United legend Gary Neville discussed Rashford's situation again on the show "Focus on Football," which drew criticism from former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher.
During the show, Neville said, "What do you all think about Rashford's situation? That's the last question." Carragher immediately interrupted him, sounding quite impatient: "Can we do a podcast episode and not talk about Rashford anymore? Stop talking about him! My God. Just like before when we talked about Trent and Rashford, every podcast episode always has a segment that's either about Trent or about Rashford."
Neville then tried to steer the conversation toward Trent, asking, "How's Trent doing lately?" Carragher responded again, exasperated, "My God!"
When Neville explained, "No, Rashford is back at Manchester United now," Carragher remained unmoved: "So what? My God. He's just a good player for Manchester United!"
Rashford himself later noticed the program, shared the video, and publicly expressed his agreement with Carragher's views.
Rashford wrote: "Thank you, Jamie. It would be great if I could just focus on playing football in peace and quiet instead of being talked about every day." He also added a crying emoji at the end of the post.
