British media: Lerma will extend his contract with Crystal Palace for two years.

On August 20, according to British media reports, Lerma has signed a new two-year contract extension with Crystal Palace.

Lerma joined Crystal Palace in 2023 and was in the final year of his contract, but he has now agreed to extend it until 2028.

The 31-year-old joined Selhurst Park after his contract with Bournemouth expired. Since joining, he has made 121 appearances in all competitions.

The Colombian international has been part of the club’s most successful period and played a key role in the team’s FA Cup victory in 2025, as well as last season’s Community Shield and UEFA Champions League wins.

With key players Gueye and Lacroix now gone, Lerma will bring invaluable experience to Crystal Palace. Furthermore, his versatility, playing in both midfield and defense, will provide new manager Pierre-Sague with more options.
