"The World Cup journey was exciting, but it wasn't always possible to reach the semi-finals or the final. Of course, we wanted to win, but ultimately we couldn't. Afterwards, I went on vacation to rest my mind and body, because it had been a tough end to the season in Milan. I came back full of motivation."
After the World Cup, we asked the coach for a few more days off, and he gave us four more. I don't understand why there's this controversy, but that's how it is in Italy. I'm very happy to have come on as a substitute today; I understand the coach's requirements and his expectations of me. I'm happy to have scored, assisted, and won the game.
