According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona's new signing Rodri resumed full training on Monday and is expected to make his debut in the match against Athletic Bilbao.

Rodri, who had been training alone last week due to insufficient preparation following the World Cup victory and having undergone outpatient back surgery, has now trained with the rest of the team, as Hansi Flick revealed in the pre-match press conference against Elche. He trained with players who had limited playing time or did not make an appearance, while those who started at the Martínez Valero Stadium focused on recovery. Of the players who played against Elche, only Rafinha, Fermín, Adyemi, and Pedri stepped onto the pitch at the Tito Vilanova Stadium in Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

Rodri has begun training with the team and aims to make his Barcelona debut next Thursday. Barcelona will face Athletic Bilbao at Camp Nou in a rescheduled La Liga match, originally postponed due to insufficient player numbers returning from the World Cups in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Gavi, also awaiting test results, did not appear on the training ground. He started at the Martinez-Valero stadium and suffered a right knee collision while pressing the Elche defense in the second half, subsequently being substituted by Pedri. Although Flick stated after the match that the injury was not serious, Gavi will still undergo examinations at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, and the club will announce whether he is injured at noon Beijing time today.
